is a living example of inspiration, strength, and talent. From a very young age, she demonstrated a strong artistic inclination, singing and composing from as early as two years old. At the age of four, she was diagnosed with a brain tumor, from which she recovered, allowing her to continue her musical, theatrical, and visual art activities. However, at the age of nine, following a second tumor and medical negligence, she suffered a severe stroke that resulted in permanent disability, losing her ability to speak, perceive, and communicate.
Despite the challenges, Nefeli found her voice through music. Although she cannot speak, she sings with incredible expressiveness and precision, possessing the rare ability to memorize melodies and lyrics in multiple languages after just a few listens. From the age of four, she received vocal training, initially with Kostas Dimitriou and later with mezzo-soprano Tsveta Christoforou.
At the age of 14, she began her collaboration with composer Stavros Sideras, who, impressed by her talent and story, wrote her first album "M’ ena magiko ravdi" ("With a Magic Wand"), which deeply moved the public. Since then, she has embarked on a dynamic artistic journey, participating in numerous concerts, events, television shows, and festivals in Cyprus, Greece, and abroad.
In 2016, together with Stavros Sideras and her mother, she founded the non-profit organization CHARISMA, with the goal of promoting artistic expression for people with disabilities, supporting over 50 artists with disabilities.
Nefeli has collaborated with renowned artists such as Alkistis Protopsalti, Giannis Ploutarchos, Giorgos Chatzinasios, Kostas Kakogiannis, among others. She has taken part in major events, concerts, and even international productions such as the show "Artists with Extraordinary Abilities."
Despite her young age—only 25 years old—she already has three albums, many singles, and collaborations under her belt with the label Final Touch, with hits like "Charisma Sou" (Your Gift), "Ego" (I), "Logia Misa" (Half-Spoken Words), "Kokkini Klosti" (Red Thread), and "Ela na pame opou thes" (Let’s Go Wherever You Want). In 2024, she was honored with the Madame Figaro Woman of the Year Award for her contribution to life and the arts.
Her new collaboration with the record label FM Records and the song "Omorfi Mera" (Beautiful Day) marks the beginning of a promising and successful partnership.
Nefeli’s story, known as “the girl who sings but does not speak,” is a deeply moving testament to the power of will, art, and the human spirit.
